FAQ's
What if the case I order doesn't fit?
If the case you order doesn’t fit, we will do a personal fitting assessment and find you one that does fit. We charge a flat $35 exchange fee. We will provide you with a return shipping label and you can send back the first case to us in the original box. We must be notified within 3 days of you receiving it. We are eager to find you a proper fit. If you just don't want a case and would like to do a return for a full refund, we will issue your refund minus the return shipping costs after we receive the returned case. Visit our policy page for return details and terms.
When will I get my case?
Your order will ship within 24 hours. Please allow 1-3 extra days if you ordered on a weekend or holiday. Depending on your location, we will ship from one of 3 locations to get your case delivered ASAP. You will be notified with tracking info promptly.
What is your shipping method?
We use FedEx and UPS Ground Service for most shipments within the United States. We use US Postal Service International when shipping to other countries.
Do you ship internationally?
Sometimes we can. Our system may not be set up to calculate international shipping rates to all countries. We recommend using our eBay store for international shipping for all cases. They have a good system. We have most of our cases listed there as well. Use our main site here to find the right case, then go find it at our eBay store. We use the Global Shipping Program through eBay to make international shipping easier for you and us. Please contact us for assistance.
How Snug should my instrument fit?
An instrument should fit almost tight and be secure around the lower bout area. Your instrument should not move around once the case is closed for an ideal fit. Of course, a slightly loose fitting case is better than too tight, or having none at all. It is possible to pad out the loose areas with foam blocks or rolled up towels.
Is the waist measurement important?
No. The waist measurement is the least important. The upper bout is the second least important. The most important dimensions are the Lower Bout, the Depth, and the Body Length, in that order. If you have a strange shaped guitar, or if you're concerned about the waist size, please contact us with the form on the right.
How much does the padding change the sizing?
This depends on the case. Except for the Length dimension, all of the measurements listed are for approximate ideal guitar sizes within +/- 0.25" ( plus or minus 1/4 inch either way.) We reference the ideal guitar size limit, not the case with a specific amount of squished padding. All the sizes listed assume some amount of padding compression in the case for a good fit.
What brands of cases do you carry?
We primarily carry cases from the Guardian brand. We are also dealers for a couple additional brands such as Gator®, STONE, Carion, and Golden Gate. We also have our own specially made gigbags and we have plans to add a boutique specialty brand in the next year.
