Located in beautiful Flagstaff amongst the San Francisco Peaks in the mountainous landscape of northern Arizona, we cater to musicians of string and percussion instruments. Custom Sound Instruments is a progressive music store that still values the tradition of personal service. We're dedicated to quality and customer service. In operation since February 2004, we have quickly become the premier fretted instrument repair shop, and warranty center in northern Arizona for many top brands. We have a wide variety of instruments and accessories for acoustic and electric musicians alike. Custom Sound Instruments was created by Ryan Elewaut, an accomplished and regarded luthier, in response to the lack of an independently focused instrument shop in the Flagstaff area. Custom Sound Instruments strives to maintain a sense of community and activity with the purpose of fulfilling the needs of independent musicians looking for a store they can enjoy and be a part of.
Shopping is different these days, and not only in the music world. The warehouse-store mindset is pervasive. We're different by combining progressive ideas about good business with traditional ideas about customer service with a goal of creating a completely unique, and interactive music store.
